What we do
Baby Shop Company was founded in 2015, with the aim of building a good online shop for the things a baby and a toddler actually need. We are part of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, and we sell online only, direct to homes across the United Kingdom.
The range is deliberately gear rather than consumables. There is no clothing, no nappies, no wipes and no formula here, because those are the things every supermarket already sells you. What we stock is the kit that gets chosen once and then lives in your house for a year or two: the playpen, the play gym, the bed guard, the travel high chair, the changing bag.
How we work
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT, so the figure on the product page is the figure you pay. Delivery is free across the United Kingdom on orders over £50, and a flat £22 below that.
Orders are picked and packed in 24 to 48 hours, then tracked to your door in 5 to 7 days. If something turns up faulty or damaged, we put it right at no cost to you and we pay the return postage.

What we claim, and what we do not
Nursery equipment is one of the few things people buy where the marketing and the responsibility point in opposite directions, so it is worth being plain. Where a manufacturer states a material, an age range or a weight limit, we put it on the product page and say it is theirs. We commission no tests and we hold no certificates, and you will not find a safety standard asserted anywhere on this site as though it were ours.
Eco packaging
We moved onto Eco Pack packaging and set ourselves the goal of working with our delivery partners to bring our carbon footprint down. It is a work in progress rather than a finished claim, and every order you place is part of it.

Play gyms and large crawl mats, play tents as a single kit or a two pack, a rocking horse, hopscotch floor stickers, a first steps walker and a children's camera.
Playpens and safety
A foldable playpen and a larger play yard, bed guards for the move out of a cot, and a back seat car camera for the journeys where you cannot turn round.
Travel and mealtimes
A portable high chair, an inflatable toddler travel bed, a travel bidet, a changing and tote bag, and silicone suction plates in three colours.
Everyday and newborn
A potty trainer, a children's electric toothbrush in pink or white, mulberry silk no scratch mittens in blue or pink, and hand and footprint casting kits.
